Founded in the Kyoho era of the Edo period. Born in Takase, a safflower village blessed with rich nature, Kotobuki Toraya Sake Brewery is a long-established sake brewery with a 300-year history of sake brewing. Golden-colored rice suitable for sake brewing is carefully prepared with the clear underground water of the Zao Mountains. Top-class master brewers and brewers create a blissful cup of sake with love. While protecting tradition, they also make full use of modern sake brewing techniques. Its reputation is not limited to Japan, but has also won numerous awards at overseas competitions. This brewery produces masterpieces that represent SAKE, which is now attracting attention around the world.
The sake is brewed using Omachi, a rice suitable for sake brewing that is said to be the oldest pure-blooded sake rice in Japan and has many fans, and is polished to 48%. You can enjoy the calm ginjo aroma, powerful richness and deep flavor. Due to its elegant impression, it is also useful as a "toast" at parties. It goes well with a variety of dishes, from light to strong-tasting dishes.
